摘要： The non-invasive method of analysis used to test the integrity of a bone in vivo,to determine whether the existence of a fracture is the evolution of the healing of afracture. This method of non-invasive analysis involves placing an electric vibrationtransducer (12) against the outside of the soft tissue surrounding the bone, inducingmechanical vibration in the bone by tapping the bone with a reflex hammer (14) andproducing an electrical signal by the transducer, which electrical signal is representativeof the mechanical vibration thus induced in the bone. The intensity of the resonancefrequency and the energy concentration in this mechanical vibration resonance frequencyare both determined from the electrical signal, and the first sensitive visual cues variablyto the frequency of the intensity resonance and second sensitive visual cues variably tothe energy concentration are displayed. The analysis is performed at different timesduring the healing process, and test results are displayed simultaneously to showevolution.
